About

Faculty of History, Lomonosov Moscow State University has always been one of the best Russia’s institutions of humanities. We started our history in the 18th century and we are proud that such famous Russian historians as M.Pogodin, S. Soloviev, T. Granovsky and V. Kyuchevsky were professors of Moscow University.

We continue our honoured traditions. Nowdays we have 16 departments, specializing in Russian and world’s history, ethnology, art history and archeology:

In addition, there are departments of modern foreign languages and ancient languages.

BSc Degree

  1. History (4 years). Tuition fee – 300 200.
  2. History of Art (4 years). Tuition fee – 300 200.

MSc Degree

  1. History (2 years). Tuition fee – 300 200.
  2. History of Art (2 years). Tuition fee – 300 200.

Postgraduate programs

Tuition fee - 262 000 rubles per a year

Full-time studies – 3 years, part-time – 4 years

Education for the training program of the teaching staff in graduate school

  • “Historical Science and Archeology” (46.06.01)
  • “Arts” (50.06.01)

Upon completion of training graduates receive qualification “Explorer. Teacher-researcher.”
